How do I install a mirror light?

The installation of a mirror light can be carried out independently in just a few steps. It is important to ensure that you have all the necessary tools, including the mirror light, before you begin.

• First, switch off the power in the room where you will be working. Safety should always be the top priority when it comes to electrical installations.
• Then measure the width of the mirror and mark the positions where the light is to be installed. Note that the light should be positioned centrally and placed at eye level.
• Drill the holes at the marked positions and insert wall plugs if necessary.
• Attach the mounting element of the mirror light to the wall using the screws provided. Make sure it is firm and secure.
• Connect the cables to the intended terminals of the light, usually marked L (Live), N (Neutral) and Earth (Ground).
• Attach the mirror light to the mounting element and make sure it is seated firmly. Then switch the power back on and test the light.
