The FREE SLIM FLAP 1.12 lift-up fitting from Häfele is the ideal solution for modern furniture designs where the focus is on design, functionality and durability. Specially developed for single-piece wooden flaps, this innovative flap fitting impresses with its slim design, high load-bearing capacity and flexible application options in virtually all living areas.
With an adjustable opening angle of 90° or 107°, the FREE SLIM FLAP adapts perfectly to different room layouts and usage requirements. It is suitable for cabinet widths up to 1,800 mm and cabinet heights from 225 to 650 mm, and supports flap weights of up to 21.3 kg, subject to the guidelines table and cabinet height. Thanks to an installation depth of 245 mm, the fitting can be efficiently integrated into a wide variety of furniture designs.
A particular highlight is the extremely slim design with a projection of just 8 mm. This opens up new design possibilities and enables particularly slim furniture constructions. The fitting is symmetrical and can be used on both the left and right. Installation can be carried out either in the traditional manner on the inside of the side panel or elegantly integrated into the side panel from the outside. With integrated installation, the fitting technology remains virtually invisible and ensures a particularly high-quality appearance.
The FREE SLIM FLAP covers a wide range of applications from 1 to 12 kg with a flap height of 400 mm using just a single fitting. This reduces the number of variants and significantly simplifies planning, stock management and installation.
Inside, Häfele’s patented U-spring technology ensures exceptional performance and durability. The surrounding U-spring made of solid steel is significantly more robust than conventional spring solutions and guarantees long-term, reliable operation. At the same time, it enables the flap to open and close particularly smoothly, thereby contributing to a comfortable user experience.
For maximum precision and perfect gap dimensions, the fitting can be individually adjusted for height, side, tilt, holding force and opening angle. This allows the flap to be precisely aligned in no time at all.
The complete set contains all necessary fixing materials, matching cover caps and clear installation instructions. This means the fitting is ready for immediate use and allows for quick and straightforward installation.
